Abstract:-This review paper focuses on the application of current injection networks for enhancing the operational performance of three-phase diode rectifiers. Three-phase diode rectifiers are widely used in various power electronic systems, such as motor drives, renewable energy systems, and industrial applications. However, they suffer from inherent limitations, including low power factor and high harmonic distortion. To address these issues, current injection networks have been proposed as a solution to improve the power factor and reduce harmonic distortion. The objective of this review paper is to provide an overview of the current injection technique and its application in the context of three-phase diode rectifiers. The paper begins with an introduction to the challenges posed by conventional diode rectifiers and the need for improved power factor operation. It then discusses the working principle and various configurations of current injection networks, including passive and active techniques..
